Thank you! We only payed for the ytong blocks, uvb and tl lighting. All the rocks and flagstones i picked it up for free. And de window was also for free. So I think maybe 100 euros???

We are bulding terraria for our offspring (NZ). Small ones for waterdragons 1 day to 3/4 months old. And 1 big one for 3/4 months and older. So they can grow big.

50/60cm but his tail is als long as his body. I dont know is weight becouse he doesnt like te be hold... We know for sure we can breed with him if he has is onw females. Becouse he raped some of the waterdragon females... Here some more pictures of him:

His nose wound happend with is last owner how kept him in a 100x50x50cm viv... Its was so sad...
If someone can help us find females for him.. That would be great.

Its a new species of Hypsilurus. We are looking for 1 or more females for him.

Hello, we treat this as in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the water dragons are not Associated with other species. Simple reasons are partly the attitude of most parameters and lack of place. For in Deuschland take a minimum of 2x1x2m (LxWxH), unfortunately it is not directly anchored in a law which size should have a water dragons enclosure.

I understand your point. In the netherlands people ask often if they can combine waterdragons with frogs or small gekko's. That is not a good plan becouse the water dragons will eat them. An other problem is they keep them in to small enclosures (somting like this: 100x50x100cm)... Its awful...
But you can put them with bigger animals like Sailfin dragons. If the bigger animal has no interest in the smaller one, there is no problem. We think 200x100x200cm for 3/4 waterdragons is minimum and 250x200x200cm for 2 or 3 Sailfin dragons. We have the combi in an enclosure of 400x300x220cm.

I know most people don't like conbinations of more than 1 species. I don't recoment combinations becouse you need lots of space for it.
